Thinking from the end

"The word transformation has the word 'form' right smack in the middle, preceded by trans - meaning going beyond form. Live from the place that will indeed take you way beyond the limits of your seemingly limited life. Explore imagination, which is the source of all being or physical reality."  This excerpt is pulled from the book Wishes Fulfilled by Wayne Dyer. What is interesting about this particular statement is that it pulls together two super thoughts: ( 1 ) We control our thinking and ( 2 ) we can manifest our destiny. Thinking about what you want, what you are looking for and how you want to move about freely in this world is a way of thinking, a way of being. The I Am and not the I Hope to Be thinking moves a person into action. Sacrifice is a nasty word so I will use the term commitment. I am committed to doing what I need to do to gain momentum in making my transformation.

The I Hope to Be is a couch riding experience of wishful thinking that comes with the baggage of self doubt, hopelessness and ineffectualness. The I Am thinking is doing. I Am comes from a place of the creator. If you currently are an accountant and you want to be a yoga instructor with your own studio, then you start living as one. The building blocks: anatomy learnings, the physical practice, the spiritual awakening, the mental, etc..., become the steps that it takes to get there. You put in the time and the energy to allowing your physical senses (the action part) to become your imaginative senses (the manifesting part). When the physical, or doing side, catches up with the imagination then you are what you saw from the beginning. You become.

There is a confidence that comes from the daily doing of something. This confidence leads to jumping into and risking (and experiencing) failure. Recovery from failure is the evolution to the next phase. Nothing will ever be perfect. Nothing. That is the point. We have to hold ourselves up to quality and risk and continue to learn. The transition, the transformation, of thinking to doing will happen. Just show up and do it.
